Beyonce has put 70 people out of work
After breaking his contract because they did not give him the pay raise she wanted, Beyoncé has laid off 70 people just before Christmas!
The singer was sued in New York by video gaming company Gate Five , which accuses him of breach of contract abuse. Indeed, the company had signed a contract with Beyoncé, to create a game called Star Power: Beyoncé in December 2010. But according to the website TMZ, which obtained the court documents, the star changed his mind in “a crucial moment in the development of the project , making it an “outrageous demand” wage increases, while both parties had already reached an agreement. Gate Five states that this freak diva put 70 people out of work a week before Christmas.
The company calls this behavior “morally reprehensible”, and requests reimbursement of $ 6.7 million invested in the project, as well as 100 million dollars marketing the game would have reported if Beyonce had met its commitments.
The singer will address this problem once returned from London.
